We are most happy to announce the recovery, reopening and new home of the La Jolla Art Association. Its new location is the La Jolla Community Center, 6811 La Jolla Blvd., La Jolla, CA 92037.
After months of negotiations with Dottie Stanley, (founder and Vice President of the Allied Artists Association), its board members, and Ingrid Wolters, Jacqueline Nevels, and Ray Anne Marks, (former board members of the La Jolla Art Association), an agreement was reached to recover the name, legacy, and operation of the La Jolla Art Association such that the transition between the two organizations could proceed.
